Mr Rick Popert MS FRCS(Urol) is a Consultant Urologist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital with a special interest in the surgery of prostate disease. He has developed a Brachytherapy service for localised prostate cancer and laser prostatectomy for prostate enlargement. He carried out basic research leading to an MS thesis at King's College Hospital between 1991 and 1993. He completed his higher surgical training at Guy's Hospital, and was appointed to the consultant staff in 1996. His expertise relates to the evaluation and management of prostate cancer, abnormal PSA blood tests and bladder outflow obstruction.

Professor A R Mundy MS FRCP FRCS is Professor of Urology at the University of London and is based at the Institute of Urology at the Middlesex Hospital, where he has been Director since 1996. Professor Mundy is a world renowned specialist in reconstructive urology, in particular the treatment of urethral stricture disease and bladder replacement. He has published many articles and written books which have helped define the management of these conditions. In addition to his experience in reconstructive urology, he has extensive experience of all aspects of urological diagnosis and surgery. Professor Mundy is a council member of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Mr Tim O'Brien MA DM FRCS(Urol) is a Consultant Urologist at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital NHS Trust. He trained in general and vascular surgery before specialising in urology in 1992. Mr O'Brien has special interests in all aspects of urology cancer, including screening. He also has clinical interests in urinary tract infection and sexual dysfunction. He is actively involved in urological cancer research and previously worked with the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in Oxford. His team is currently involved in research trials in kidney cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer and erectile dysfunction.

Mr Rohan Nauth-Misir BSc FRCS(Urol) is Consultant Urologist at The Institute of Urology/University College London Hospitals NHS Trust. He has particular expertise in renal transplantation and all forms of surgery relating to renal failure. His other areas of work include bladder and renal cancer, general urology and has a special interest in renal stone management using lithotripter at the Harley Street Clinic.

Mr M Shamin Khan FRCS(Urol) is Consultant Urologist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital Trust. He sees patients with a wide range of urological conditions, and has special interest in female urology and the management of urinary incontinence. He also has a special interest in BPH, urological cancer and erectile dysfunction.

Mr Prokar Dasgupta MSc (Urol), MD, DLS, FRCS (Urol), FEBU is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals. His specialist interest is in Endourology including Laparoscopic Urological Surgery and Robotics. He has pioneered a minimally invasive technique of injecting Botox into over active bladders. In addition to his interests in minimally invasive surgery he has experience in all aspects of diagnostic urology and urological cancers. He has published numerous articles and book chapters and presented extensively in national and international meetings.

Miss Tamsin Greenwell MD, FRCS (Urol): is a Consultant Urologist at the Institute of Urology at the Middlesex Hospital with a special interest in female urology, in particular urinary incontinence, and reconstructive urology including the treatment of urethral stricture disease and bladder replacement or reconstruction. Her current clinical and research interests include the treatment of complex male and female urinary incontinence and the techniques, side- effects and outcomes of urethral reconstruction. She has published many articles on the subject of reconstructive urology - many in conjunction with Professor Mundy.

Nikki Lewis, Practice Manager, has been involved in the management of urological services since 1980 at Guy's and at London Bridge Hospital. She manages all aspects of the practice and is available to assist patients with bookings, outpatient appointments, in-patient stays, accounts and insurance claims.
